What is it?

The Gigwalk app for iPhone is a system designed for both businesses and individuals.  Companies can use Gigwalk to receive feedback on their services and products, check their employees are providing the best customer service and make sure the look of their company is appealing.  For individuals it is a quick info service that makes (among other things) getting around, shopping and eating out more efficient and enjoyable.

How can I use Gigwalk?

Have you ever been in a situation where you are late for a meeting, holiday, or train and waste time asking 5 people how to get to your destination on foot?  This is the answer.  Gigwalk is a network of people sharing information that can make life easier and make the menial tasks less tedious. For example Gigwalk can help you choose the right restaurant for an occasion by being able to view up to date photos of the exterior, interior and even the food on offer at specific establishments. Or you can make the most of your shopping experience by viewing pictures of real people in different outfits from your favourite retailers. If you aren’t a fan of crowded shops and changing room queues, then this app can help you shorten the shopping experience. Alternatively of course when shopping you can always use the Trunk Club.

The Possibilities

Here we’ve listed a couple of ways you can use Gigwalk, but really you are only limited by your imagination. When it comes to getting up to date localized information for any purpose, Gigwalk seems to be very efficient.

About The Author

In 2006, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Crohn's is an incurable disease of the digestive tract. My case was severe, and required over a dozen daily medications and several hospital visits. After reaching a personal low point in hospital, I decided he would do everything in my power to strengthen my by then weak body. Through a combination of yoga, nutrition, natural supplements and rigorous exercise (Ironman and Crossfit) i was able to fight back the symptoms of Crohn's until I was finally able to suspend my medication. Eventually I was declared free of all traces of the 'incurable' disease, and competed in Ironman France in June of 2011. I has since spoken at seminars and at a regional TED Talk about my struggle against a seemingly insurmountable opponent. Through the process of data collection, self tracking, and analysis, I helped develop Less Doing. This was a way of dealing with the daily stresses of life by optimizing, automating, and outsourcing all of my tasks in life and business. Now I focus on Achievement Architecture, helping individuals be more effective at everything.
